Necessary ingredients :

  • Rice  – 02 cups (raw),
  • Arhar  dal – 01 cups,
  • Red Chilli Powder  – 1/2 Tablespoon,
  • Asafoetida (hing)powder – 01 teaspoons,
  • Salt – according to taste

Method of making plain dosa:

For the recipe of making plain dosa, for the first time, plain Dosa Recipe, soak the dal and rice in separate utensils.

After about 3 hours, remove both of them from the water and grind them separately. Mix roasted lentils and rice together.

Now mix red chili powder, asafetida powder and salt in lentil paste. If the paste is thick, then mix a little water and fill all the ingredients properly. Now your  Batter Dosa Batter is ready.

Now heat the dosa tawa. Once the tawa is hot, spread one well on top of the pan with a big spoon solution.

Bake the dosa on a low flame. When one side dosa becomes light brown, turn it over and bake.
